For people on the West Coast, from Seattle down to San Diego and all points in between, to discuss possible new Cacophony chapters (and revitalisation of old ones), propose and discuss putting together Cacophony events in the cities and in the sticks, and advertise West Coast events of interest to Cacophonists (art happenings, Situationist happenings, absurd happenings, bizarre happenings, etc.). I don't know why there aren't any West Coast Cacophony groups on here, nor do I know why the West Coast groups (especially L.A.) seem to have died down in the past couple of years. I haven't been directly involved with Cacophony for a long time, but that's not completely my choice, and I attended some amazing events in the past, so I know the potential this ungroup group has to counteract the deadening effect of everyday complacency.
