1. Simply tell your friends about KITW. Make sure to tell them where they can listen to their music (myspace, purevolume and on their main website). Or let them borrow your KITW CDs. DO NOT let your friends rip the CDs onto their computers! That is stealing from the band and no way to support them.

2. When you're at a store that sells the KITW CDs and you see someone looking through the CD section, maybe just mention "Hey there's this band called Kids in the Way that is pretty awesome..." I did that once. Don't know if the guy bought the CD, but he was holding it when I left.

3. Invite your friends to a KITW show, or if you're part of a teen group at a church, plan it as an event for the whole group. I did that with my teen group and my teen leader bought both KITW CDs!

4. Promotion materials for shows may be available on certain tours, its up to KITW's manager if promotion materials are sent to street teamers, but I will let everyone know if promotion materials will be available for certain tours. Some things to keep in mind when promoting: Remember to always ask if you can put stickers, posters or any other promotion stuff in a store/buisness.
Also I would like to hear how you use the promo stuff. Just send me an email about what you did. I can always learn from your ideas and I could also pass them along to others so PLEASE remember to tell me what you did with the promotion stuff! Most importantly, don't keep the stuff for yourself!
