... Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
(Mark 2:17b)
My name is Sean and I am SICK (a Sinner In Christ the King).
I'm starting this NEW evangelism education/fellowship club based on "The Way of the Master" method founded by Ray Comfort and revolves around evangelism that is Biblically sound, effective, and actually based on the way Jesus did it in the Bible. This club is meant to help Christians learn the importance of evangelism and to help them to not just pray that their friends, family, and strangers get saved, but to do something about it and to do it passionately and in love without fear of back-sliding and false conversion. We need to help people to admit their sickness that is sin so that they will acknowledge that they need the one and only cure: the love and mercy of Jesus Christ. We as Christians have a responsiblity (though a very hard and scary endeavor) to fulfill the final command of Jesus before he ascended into heaven:
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28: 18-20)
Factoid: One evangelist who talks to only 10 unsaved people in a week has reached just as much or even more of the unsaved than most churches in the same week. Now imagine two, three, ten evangelists going out at the same time.
If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? (Matthew 5: 46-47)
"The Way of the Master" has a TV program on TBN and JCTV that stars Kirk Cameron (from "Growing Pains") and Ray Comfort and also has a website you can check out at: wayofthemaster.com
NEWS- The Way of the Master now has a radio show everyday. You can check out audio clips of actual evangelism encounters and Biblical teachings that have been forgotten in today's church at their website. These resources will help you tremendously in your evangelism encounters. Here's their website-
