- Karl Bartos is one of the original members [1975 - 1991] of the legendary German electronic group Kraftwerk, which became an overnight succes in 1975. He took part [author, composer, member] in creating some of modern musics most influential album classics like: Radioactivity, Trans Europe Express, The Man Machine, Computer World, Tour de France, Electric Caf and The Mix, which altered our perception of sound. This also by using film and video even before MTV came into play.

- Nowadays "well established" artists and bands in several music styles from Hip Hop Music, Rock Music, Pop Music, Electronic Music
and all in between, confess that they were somehow influenced by Karl Bartos and Kraftwerk's musical insight over the decades...

After leaving Kraftwerk, Karl Bartos activities as author and producer lead him to world-wide successful co-operations with Electronic [Bernard Sumner / Johnny Marr], OMD [Andy McCluskey], Information Society [USA], The Mobile Homes [Sweden], and Anthony Rother [Germany] as well as records of his own project titled Electric Music".

- Nowadays " Professor" Karl Bartos [YES, he is a Professor] gives several lectures and he educates at a University of Berlin in Germany.
