Welcome to my group for Colin Mochrie lovers everywhere! Most people know him from his regular appearance on the British and American version of brilliant improv show, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, which is on every night on abc Family! He's well known on Whose Line? as the hilarious and lovable Canadian bald guy with the loud shirts.:-)
Colin may be thought of as one of the most outgoing and fearless of the Whose Line? performers, but he describes himself as a shy person, and at first terrified of being on stage. But when he got his first laugh (he was dared to try out for a play in highschool and accidently ripped his pants on stage) he knew this is what he wanted to do, and he's been doing it well for years!! I actually have seen him live in a Colin & Brad show and in fact he does seem to be much more shy than Brad about talking on stage... I did get to "meet" both of them when they were signing autographs after the show and they're both VERY nice guys....:-)
As well as Whose Line?, he's also made many guest star appearances in tv shows including "Goosebumps" and "The Drew Carey Show"!
Colin has also been featured in movies such as, Rainbow War, January Man, The Real Blonde, Do It For Uncle Manny, Totally Blonde, Jane White Is Sick & Twisted, The Tuxedo, and Zoom (which stars Tim Allen and is in the process of filming)
Colin has also provided the voice for characters in children's cartoon programs, "George and Martha" and "Seven Little Monsters".
He's been in several improv shows besides Whose Line? like, Improv Heaven & Hell, Drew Carey's Improv All Stars, Drew Carey's Green Screen Show, and Comedy Gold.
His current work is appearing as the loveable Nabisco Snack Fairy on commercials for 100 Calorie Packs with that great catch phrase: "Snack Happy!" In film Colin's working on writing, producing and starring in a new Canada show, "Getting Along Famously" along with his wife, Debra McGrath. While he's not busy with that, he has his own live improv show with another of the Whose Line? cast members, Brad Sherwood called "An Evening With Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood", which is currently touring all over the US!
