Group Leader:

We're here for all the Navy wives that are near and far from their families. We know it's hard to live overseas especially in a country where you don't speak the language. We hope that this group will help you get in touch with others going through your same situation. The main goal is to offer up support and understanding to those who so desperately need it.

Our members are expected to conduct themselves on our group in accordance with our guidelines. The guidelines are as follows:

1) No personal attacks on members will be tolerated in any form. If you are found in violation of this rule you will be warned and the offending post(s) will be deleted. If you continue to harass others, or harass the moderators for warning you, then you will be removed from the group.

2) Please watch your language as to not possibly offend members.

3) Please do not type in all caps as it is considered yelling... we understand that sometimes members can accidentally leave the caps on but please do not make a habit of it.

4) Whatever is said on the list stays on the list whether it be found in the
archives or is a current affair. Privacy and security is of the utmost
importance. If we can respect the privacy and security
of our sailors we should also do the same for our fellow group members REGARDLESS of how heated or important the issue may be.

5) NWJ adheres to OPSEC guidelines about what should/should not be talked about
regarding military deployments, movements, etc. For specific guidelines please
view the OPSEC website at

http://www.mshq.net/guides/opsec.shtml

6) Honesty, legitimacy of our members is not checked before you join the group. However, if it is found later on that you have been dishonest regarding who you really are you will automatically be banned from the group with or without an explanation.

7) Last but not least, conduct yourself as a responsible adult.
