On another personal note as well, I have been going there for over a year and have been known as the guy that everyone asks: "Are you doing My Chemical Romance tonight?" and the answer always is of course, but here's the thing. I will sing it how I feel it should be sung. I have seen a lot of live shows with My Chemical Romance and see how they sing it live, so I incorporate my stye with their music. But hey, this is exactly my point...You don't have to sing the song exactly as it is. Put a SPIN on it! Make it your own! That's what karaoke is all about. Just do it for fun. If this means standing on top of tables (don't steal my flow now!) then do whatever your heart feels!
The music selection is really good. From rock to rap to classic rock to some hardcore even: KISS, Def Leppard, Taking Back Sunday, Led Zepplin, The Cure, Warren G, My Chemical Romance, Bon Jovi, The Used, Dashboard Confessional, Iron Maiden, Sum41, Blink182, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, The Killers, Green Day, Alice Cooper, Frank Sinatra, and a TON of more. Jon has BIG books with a lot of songs. Those are just some of the names of my favorite artists off the top of my head that he has!

Go crazy with a hard rock song or mellow out to some soft rock, hip-hop, etc. Bring your OWN CD's, either originals and bands that you love. If he doesn't have it for karaoke, you can still sing...
