I can honestly say its been about 10 years since I've heard true rock or hip-hop music with any real solid context. Now days everything is one big commercial, trying to sell nothing but an image, forgetting all together that it's about the music. The really good music I hear today is not on the radio, MTV, or major record labels. All of the really good music is coming out of the underground, and its great. It deserves much more credit than it receives. People producing their own stuff their own ideas, not being told by some crooked record exec what to do, because they think a certain fad will sell better. I say fuck that. Be yourself, do what makes you feel good, don't let anyone get in your way.
