The Grand Raggidy Roller Girls is an independently owned, all-female roller derby league based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Developed in April 2005 by three women (Shutter Speed, Vindicator and Ricochet) the league has continued to attract more than 45 women (and growing) who are interested in unleashing a terrifying assault on the city’s rinks.

The league is part of the national league, Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), which comprises more than 40 leagues from across the nation, including Detroit, Chicago and Ohio. GRRG is also affiliated with USA Roller Sports (USARS), the national group which sanctions the GRRG events and provides insurance to players.

To date, the GRRG is comprised of 3 teams: The Roustabout Rollers, The Blue Collar Broads and The Everyday Rebelles. Be sure to see them face off on the rink during their fall 2006 at the DeltaPlex on September 16, October 21 and November 25!

Women of all ages, shapes and sizes are welcome and are encouraged to explore the mysterious world of the derb.
