Channel 8 is a yearly revolving student run collective ready to serve hot fresh video injections to the CalArts student body on campus.

This year we wanted to point a dagger into the heart of conformity by opening up the Channel 8 gates to our Artisan brethren. Cal Arts, we are here for you- pour into us your most feverish desires and most coveted secrets- submit your work on VHS or DVD to the Channel 8 slot in the Mail Room 24 hours a day and it will be scheduled and broadcast!

It is time now in our young lives to cast away the pretensions of the existential world- a world of fear, pain, and jealousy. Surrender your inhibitions-Let yourself laugh, dance, play upon this earth while you still have life to give. Shed your fear and allow Channel 8 to give you access to rare points of entry into the human creative psyche. Here we will present an eclectic array of films the likes of which, in some cases have never and will never be seen again. So let Channel 8 entertain you but please keep in mind the following mantra:
