What is this group about?(What is this group about? ) The term people of color was adopted to refer to all people who are not considered "white" by "white people". In American "racial" terms, it refered to anyone who claimed other than European ancestry on either side of their family. This is A Community/Group for People of Color, it's to promote cooperation and understanding between different cultures, nationalities & communities. The idea of this group was to provide an Internet based information and communication portal that would cater to and directly serve a severely neglected segment of American society - the minority Internet user. As people of the Pocc Forum, we stand against all forms of oppression and their manifestations such as imperialism, colonialism, racism, zionism and sexism. I believe that the enemy of people of color is the evil idea and practice of white supremacy. It is a cancer that not only exist in the minds of white people but of most people in the world through years of early indoctrination by the educational system and various religious institutions. White people are not the enemy. Only white supremacy in the mind. America is not the enemy. Only the white supremist values and institutional racism that it was built on. (This is real talk) Lets discuss real problems and real solutions on how to end all the ism's that effect the lives of poc all over the world.
