The Bobby Fuller Four were one of the last great American Rock and Roll bands. Bobby convincingly pulled off Buddy Holly's songs, along with Richie Valens and Eddie Cochran's. However, Bobby was no impersonator, he proved to be an excellent songwriter and guitarist. The Bobby Fuller Four were a breath of fresh air when compared to the lamer british bands of the day. Just like his heroes, Bobby was to meet a tragic death.
