About ROBIN:

In December 2000, guitarist HIROSHI, decided to leave "THE MONSTER A GO GO’S" to pursue and further his musical expressions. He was already the guitarist of the most conspicuous band in the Japanese garage scene in those days. After leaving, he kept on playing and trying out various musicians to form the new band.

At the beginning of 2001, Hiroshi formed the band with a double bass beginner, Yasu, and the drummer from the bands THE STREET BEATS and SADS, Muta. The band was named "ROBIN", taking over the concept from the later period of THE MONSTER A GO GO’S, which was the vocalist HIDERO(R.I.P) as Batman, and guitarist HIROSHI as Robin.
In May, they performed their first show at Yokohama Club 24. Immediately, the band received a great uproar from the scene.
In December, MUTSUMI YANAGIYA, the founder of the label BIG RUMBLE PRODUCTIONS, and frontman of BATTLE OF NINJAMANZ (a leader for the Japanese psychobilly scene) contacted them to release their first maxi single "TRUST ME". It was sold-out as soon as it was released.

In 2002 they were beginning to be known widely by their reputation, ROBIN recieved many offers for gigs from all over Japan. In August, they made their first appearance at Japan’s largest psychobilly festival called TOKYO BIG RUMBLE with such bands as the NEKROMANTIX. Around this time their 1st album "MY WAY" sold out it’s 1st pressing of 1,300 copies. That album ended up with total sales of 5,000 copies, and is now discontinued.

In 2003, while performing energetic shows all over Japan, ROBIN sold out their solo performance at Shimokitazawa Shelter in May. They also played with such bands as THE METEORS in July, and MAD SIN in August. Later they released their first LP "SHOUT IT OUT LOUD" from the Vinyl Japan record label.

In 2004, ROBIN has supported and performed with many bands from overseas, such as G.B.H in January, Demented Are Go in March, The Peacocks in May, Klingonz in August, and Batmobile in October.
In the same month, YUSUKE CHIBA (frontman for Rosso, ex.The Michelle Gun Elephant) of the Trippin Elephant record label signed ROBIN to release their 2nd album, "NEVER MIND". They also performed a sold out record release show at Shimokitazawa Shelter.

In March 2005, ROBIN released their 1st live DVD "DxMxW" (Dive, Mosh, Wreckin) from Trippin’Elephant, while performing with The Misfits at the Shinkiba Studio Coast. In the next month, they played at one of the largest psychobilly festivals "Satanic Stomp" which draws a worldwide audience of over three thousand people.
Later they performed with the Horror Pops in August. And in October, ROBIN went on do a tour called "JAPAN vs CALIFORNIA" through L.A. to Las Vegas. In front an audience of over 1000 people in each venue, This increased ROBIN’S already well known reputation.
At this time, they released their maxi single "BURIED IN BLOOD", and held an solo show at Shinjuku Loft.

In 2006, the next tour ROBIN supported SAMUARI ATTACK for several shows. From this tour ROBIN decided to sign a contract with SA’s record company, PINEAPPLE RECORDS. ROBIN was the first band to sign to PINEAPPLE RECORDS except for SA.
In September, they accomplished their 2nd tour in the US. They attended the “HOLLYWOOD SHOWDOWN 7 ~saturday night psychobilly~”as one of the co-headliners, and performed in front of over 3000 people to a great response.
As soon as they got back from the tour they went into the studio and began recording for the next album.

In January 2007, ROBIN, LINK13 and PULLING TEETH released a 3 band compilaton LP called "FAR EAST EVILS".
In February, ROBIN performed in Brazil’s largest psychobilly festival called "Psycho Carnival 2007" with Banane Metalik from France.
Not even a moment after that tour, ROBIN went out for a consecutive tour in Japan for their newly released 3rd album, "DEAD LUCK CITY", in March.
At the final tour date in October, ROBIN started their self organized show called “Attack From Gotham City”, and performed with top bands from the Japanese psychobilly/punk scene.

In January 2008, ROBIN started this year succesfully, carrying out "Attack From Gotham City Vol.2" as a solo show in Shibuya Tokyo.
In March, they hit the road again for a tour with BALZAC and played the major cities of Japan.
