If you are a casual listener of music or someone who "can't get enough" of music, please come on in and feel welcome. Feel free to discuss what you think went wrong with your favorite band, why you hate a certain type of music, what makes a band your favorite or just plain great, or simply the feelings that are involved in listening to or playing music. All musical types are welcome, and all discussions of all types of music are welcome. The hope is to make this a welcome place for music lovers and musicians alike. Please lets make this a haven for music lovers and musicians alike and not yell or fawn over anyone here. Let's all treat everyone as equals here. There are a few basic ground rules coming in, but I will do my best not to be a tyrant. Please abide by them.
The few basic ground rules:
1. No discussing musicians you're in love with. This is a group about music and musicians, not your dream wedding. 2. No fights. All fights will be taken down and if need be the fighters will be banned. 3. No spamming. Advertising is welcome, spamming is not...know the difference. Band Shoutouts!!! I would like to say welcome to Glory of This and ask, neigh, TELL everyone to go check them out. THEY ROCK!!! A big welcome to our newest friends Faktion. They have some great music and anyone living near the Dallas Tx area can check out their live show. They also are gratious enough to give us free music (and we love free). Just click on their blog entitled "Wondering how you can get a CD?" and there is a link to 8 free songs. Also a big welcome to my dear friends Burns Out Bright. Go check them out and tell bryan that daniel sent you because their a great bunch of guys. Our friend's Krispy and Nick has just recently gotten a music account for their band Sepulchre. Let’s all show support for them and go check it out. As I understand it they are in need of a guitarist and possibly a drummer. Anyone that would like to fill either of those spaces contact their band page or directly to Krispy or Nick themselves. Anyone who is a fan of Sevendust then I urge you to check out Dystalis. Anyone who is a fan of or just wants to find out about the bands I have posted, please click on the banners...they are links to websites. Anyone who cares to advertise a band or even their own band are more than welcome to. There are two options here. A. post a topic under band advertisements. B. Shoot me an email or something and I'll check into the band, if they seem worthy (and I promise to be kind in this regard) I shall post them under the heading of "band shoutouts" right out in front for all to see.
