This Projects for a Participatory Society group exists to propose, investigate, debate, explore, and advocate radical ideas for a desirable future. It focuses on social, economic, cultural, and political life. It's core values include solidarity, diversity, equity, self management, justice, and sustainability.

Hope and vision for the future of our society are things that the modern Left and the social justice movements in general seem to be mostly missing. The slogan "A Better World is Possible" has become a mantra among those working for change, but real comprehensive tangible solutions are almost never discussed or even imagined. We have become exceptional at articulating what it is we are against and why, but when it come to the very real and pressing question of what we want instead, we are extremely perplexed. Here than is an intriguing collection of inspirational solutions and visions for the future of our society .
