Some of her signature songs include: Dice Que Soy, Ese Hombere, Mi Mayor Venganza, Love & Happiness (as River Ocean), I Can't Get No Sleep (with Masters at Work or MAW - Kenny Dope Gonzalez & Little Louie Vega), Vivir Lo Nuestro.

She Got her start in the 80's with the group TKA. Her first album was english freestyle dance sounding "Breaking Night" which she collaborated with Jellybean Martinez. Her next album was the wonderfully titled "Llego La India via Palmieri. But it wasn't until her third album, "Dicen Que Soy" that India broke out and established herself as a powerful vocalist in the male-dominated music of Salsa.

She has collaborated with many legends, including: Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Oscar de Leon, & Marc Anthony.
