Nu-Soul is a brand new online magazine that bridges the gap between the world of R&B and the underground sounds of electronic music, the common factor being an emphasis on funk, soul and urban lifestyle. We cover a variety of musical genres that have emerged in recent years including neo-soul, drum and bass, deep house, broken beat and breaks. All these musical forms represent the future of urban soul music, returning the focus to artists who are pushing the envelope and creating new sounds.
Nu-Soul on Myspace hopes to create an environment where discerning music listeners can discover new talent and broaden their understanding of what is soul. We hope to offer a sense of belonging to those with diverse musical appetites putting them in touch with the latest cd and vinyl releases, the freshest artists, and the livest events. This will be a place to network and share ideas and open minds.
