I created this group for people on Myspace to discuss anything having to do with UFOs, Extraterrestrials, and Area 51. Discuss UFO and alien sightings, crop circles, contactees, free energy, Area 51 also known as The Ranch, Dreamland, The Farm, Watertown, Groom Lake, The Box,

This is the end of the childhood of the human race. It is time for us to become mature adults among the cosmic civilizations that are out there. The secrecy started out because they didn't know what they were dealing with and they were afraid of people reacting in a negative way to something that was more powerful than any technology that *we* had. I think that this then evolved to a situation as -- once they realized what the technology was -- and we're estimating that between 1950 and 1960 they basically had figured out the energy and propulsion generation systems behind these sorts of objects. They realized that it extracts energy from the fabric of space around us. Not outer space, but space. In fact, we have an experimental program going on now called Space Energy Access Systems. You can see the web site SEASpower.com to look into this. The question is, what impact would that have? Well, essentially you're talking about things with propulsion and energy generation capabilities that are not your Grand Dad's Oldsmobile. These things are not moving through interstellar space using Jet A fuel or rocket fuel, or anything like that. It's a whole new type of physics, and the problem with it is that it means 'good bye' oil, gas, coal, centralized utilities...oops, I just wrote off about a 6 or 7 trillion dollar part of the global economy. It is an enormously big issue in terms of money, power, geopolitical power, etc. So, this issue -- far from being the 'ha ha' piece of people having sex with creatures from another star system -- is really about the death grip the current power players have on the geopolitical order and the economic order of this planet. And they damn well intend to keep us addicted to black oil for as long as they can. The problem is, is that many people even within this management group that I have met with, and I *have* met with people who are on the policy board of this group, are concerned that we *may* be running out of time to transition out of fossil fuels, and so the good news is that many of them support bringing this information out as well as the technologies out -- they just don't know how to do it -- and they've painted themselves into such a corner of secrecy, it's hard for them to even acknowledge that these projects exist to the world because there would be so much outrage at the fact that we have destroyed so much of the world's environment and impoverished so much of the world artificially over the last 40 or 50 years.

Actually, the people who have a lot of sensitive information are still rather frightened to come forward, and the whole thing that was left out of this show is -- they kept saying, "Well, the government isn't in the business of looking into this right now." Well, that's an absolute false statement. I mean, I have personally briefed the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency and a sitting CIA director on this project, and they knew that there were projects still going on, but they were being lied to about them. So, this is a serious problem of dysfunction of government. I mean, there is an enormously well-funded project dealing with this area that is going on to this day, and we were wanting to have them go into that from a government accountability point of view, from the point of view that there are tens of billions of dollars going into projects that the congress, and even this White House (at least in the form of the President), has very little knowledge of, and these are things that are really anathema to democracy and, in my opinion, to the American constitution. So, one of the problems has been getting the media to actually do anything resembling investigative reporting, and this certainly was not an investigative report -- I've seen better things on the History and the Discovery Channel, it was pitiful really.

-ALIEN ABDUCTIONS
The alien abductees have in almost every case been studied by alledged aliens. They performed surgical operations, collected sperm, ova samples and tissues of all kinds. And in some cases alien implants could be found after the abduction was complete.

-ALIEN BASES
These bases alledgedly exist in the four corners area of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada. Six bases were described in the 1972 papers, all on indian reservations and all in the four corners area. The base near Dulce was one of them.

-AQUARIUS, PROJECT
Project Aquarius was a Top Secret project that was started in 1953 and was set up to accumulate as much data as possible about alien life forms and to distribute the collected information to the relevant projects. Its existence was revealed by WILLIAM MOORE when he released three pages of a "Project Aquarius Executive Briefing Document" to the public.

Unfortunately for Moore, this document is now thought to be a fake due to its sloppy presentation (there was a logo on the cover which looked like it had been drawn on with a felt-tip pen) as well as missing background detail. Moore was asked to release more proof that Project Aquarius existed, but he refused, saying that the burden of proof is on those saying that the document is a hoax.

-AREA 51
AREA 51 is the top secret U.S. Government Air Force research and testing facility at Groom Lake Nevada. Area 51 is also known as Watertown, Dreamland, Paradise Ranch, The Farm, The Box, Groom Lake, and The Directorate for Development Plans Area. It is a remote tract of land in southern Nevada, owned by the federal government of the United States, containing an air field apparently used for the secret development and testing of new military aircraft. It is famed as the subject of many UFO conspiracy theories.

Groom Lake is not a conventional airbase, and frontline units are not normally deployed there. It appears, rather, to be used during the development, test and training phases for new aircraft. Once those aircraft have been accepted by the USAF, operation of that aircraft is generally shifted to a normal air force base. Groom is reported, however, to be the permanent home for a small number of aircraft of Soviet design (obtained by various means). These are reportedly analyzed and used for training purposes. Soviet spy satellites obtained photographs of the Groom Lake area during the height of the Cold War, but these support only modest conclusions about the base. They depict a nondescript base, airstrip, hangars, and so forth, but nothing that supports some of the wilder claims about underground facilities. Later commercial satellite images show that the base has grown, but remains superficially unexceptional.

Defense contractor EG&G maintains a private terminal at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. A number of unmarked aircraft operate daily shuttle services from McCarran to sites operated by EG&G in the extensive federally controlled lands in southern Nevada. These aircraft reportedly use JANET radio call signs (e.g., "JANET 6"), said to be an acronym for "Joint Air Network for Employee Transportation" or (perhaps as a joke) "Just Another Non-Existent Terminal". EG&G advertises in the Las Vegas press for experienced airline pilots, saying applicants must be eligible for government security clearance and that successful applicants can expect to always overnight at Las Vegas. These aircraft, painted white with red trim (the livery of now defunct Western Airlines), include Boeing 737s and several smaller executive jets. Their tail numbers are registered to several unexceptional civil aircraft leasing corporations. They are reported to shuttle to Groom, Tonopah Test Range, to other locations in the NAFR and NTS, and reportedly to Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake. Observers counting departures and cars in the private EG&G parking lot at McCarran estimate several thousand people commute on JANET each day. A bus runs a commuter service along Groom Lake Road, catering to a small number of employees living in several small desert communities beyond the NTS boundary (although it is not clear whether these workers are employed at Groom or at other facilities in the NTS). The bus drives down Groom Lake Road and stops at Crystal Springs, Ash Springs, and Alamo.

Its secretive nature and undoubted connection to classified aircraft research, together with reports of unusual phenomena, have led Area 51 to become a centerpiece of modern UFO and conspiracy theory folklore. Some of the unconventional activities claimed to be underway at Area 51 include: The storage, examination, and reverse engineering of crashed alien spacecraft (including material supposedly recovered at Roswell), the study of their occupants (living and dead), and the manufacture of aircraft based on alien technology. Meetings or joint undertakings with extraterrestrials, the development of exotic forms of energy for SDI weapons, means of weather control, and activities related to a supposed shadowy world government are all rumors surrounding Area 51.

Many of theories concern underground facilities at Groom or at nearby Papoose Mountain, and include claims of a transcontinental underground railroad system, a disappearing airstrip (nicknamed the "Cheshire Airstrip", after Lewis Carroll's Cheshire cat) which briefly appears when water is sprayed onto its camouflaged asphalt, and engineering based on alien technology. In 1989 Bob Lazar claimed that he had worked at a facility at Papoose Mountain (which he called S-4) on such a U.S. Government flying saucer.

-BECHTEL
(pronounced BECK-tul) Is a supersecret international corporate octopus, founded in 1898. Some say the firm is really a "SHADOW GOVERNMENT" - a working arm of the CIA. It is the largest construction and engineering outfit, in the USA and the WORLD (and some say BEYOND). The most important posts in the US Government are held by former BECHTEL Officers. They are part of "The WEB" (an interconnected control system) which links the Tri-Lateralist plans, the C.F.R. the Orders of "Illuminism" (Cult of the All-Seeing Eye) and other interlocking Illuminati groups.

-BELL, ART
Art Bell in Pahrump Nevada, hosts weekly "Dreamland" radio show on UFOs and paranormal and the daily Coast to Coast show that covers just about anything and everything. A real friend to count on for good information.

-BENNEWITZ, PAUL
In the late 1970's, an Albuquerque businessman named Paul Bennewitz started to monitor unusual electromagnetic pulses from what he thought were UFOs flying above the nearby Manzano Nuclear Weapons Storage Facility near Kirtland Air Force Base. He came to the conclusion that these pulses may be controlling implanted abductees, so he started attempting to decode the pulses, and thought he was on the right path.

He contacted APRO about his theory, but they wouldn't believe him, so he contacted AFOSI in October 1980, where he was put in touch with RICHARD DOTY. He filled out a few forms and sent in some tapes he had filmed of some UFOs over the Nuclear Storage Facility and Rick Doty started to feed Bennewitz DISINFORMATION about the US government's involvement with the UFO phenomenon, including tales of US/alien pacts, alien bases in various places around the world, and of experiments that the aliens carried out with humans to create hybrids and androids. Bennewitz believed all of it. Doty then got WILLIAM MOORE to pass on more disinformation on to him, and Bennewitz got more and more paranoid and eventually went insane. Bennewitz told JOHN LEAR what he had heard and Lear took this into account when he wrote his DARK SIDE HYPOTHESIS.

-BLACK PROJECTS
"Black Project" is a term used by the government-industrial complex to classify projects essential and sensistive to "national defense". Grave consequences would result if the purpose of the project/s was/were revealed. A primary example is truth surrounding Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).

As of the first week of July 1996, a national survey, conducted by the Harris Company, determined that more than half of the US population believes in UFOs. In 1960, the Brookings Institute prepared a study for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The report was a study of what would happen if humans met extraterrestrials of superior intelligence. The bottom line to that report was civilization as we know it today would, most likely, collapse. Do you think, perhaps, that the Government took that report to heart? Well, believe me they did.

-BLUEBOOK, PROJECT
Project Bluebook was the last publicly acknowledged USAF investigation into UFOs, and something of a controversial one, which started in March 1952. Its aims were to find explanations for UFO sightings, to assess whether they were a threat to national security, and to determine if the UFOs used advanced technology from which the US could learn. Reports were collected, analyzed and filed according to their results. No-one noticed anything was wrong with the project until one of the people on the investigation team sent in his own sighting.

It was filed, but when he wanted to refer back to his report, it had disappeared. He then alleged that any reports that were both unexplained and could cause public uproar were siphoned off out of Blue Book to somewhere else higher up in authority, a claim that ufologists now see as fact. Blue Book was wound up in 1969 as a result of the CONDON REPORT and one of its investigators, Dr J. Allen Hynek, went on to form the first scientific based UFO group, the Center for UFO Studies, in 1973.

-Bob Lazar
Robert Scott Lazar (born 26 January 1959) is a central (and highly controversial) figure in discussions about UFOs. Lazar claims to have worked at area S-4 of the Nevada Test Site (near Area 51) at the special request of Edward Teller. He further claims to have performed reverse engineering on crashed extraterrestrial spacecraft there. The publicity surrounding his revelations is one of the major factors in putting the previously obscure military facility in public awareness.

In November 1989 Lazar made a special interview appearance with investigative reporter George Knapp on Las Vegas TV station KLAS to talk about his reported work. He suggested this was in part to share the information in scientific interest, and partly to insure himself against any mysterious sudden demise for exposing what Lazar described as classified information. Opinions are divided as to the reliability of Lazar's claims. Critics argue that he has made unsupported statements, and that Lazar has a weak grasp of the scientific principles he espouses, and that the entire affair is a hoax. Supporters argue that Lazar is the victim of a cover up, and that his claims are accurate and reliable.

-BUSH, DR. VANNEVAR
Truman's highly respected scientific advisor through World War II and the 1940s, and an alleged member of MJ-12. In 1941 Dr. Bush had organsied the National Defense Resources Council and , in 1943, the Office of Scientific Research and Development, which played a major part in creating the Manhatted Project, which led to the first atomic bomb.

-CIA
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is an American intelligence agency, responsible for obtaining and analyzing information about foreign governments, corporations, and individuals, and reporting such information to the various branches of the U.S. Government. A third function of the CIA is to act as the "hidden hand" of the government for engaging in "covert actions" at "the direction of the President." It is this last function that has caused most of the controversies regarding the CIA over the years.

Its headquarters are in the community of Langley in the McLean CDP of Fairfax County, Virginia, across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C.. The CIA is part of the American Intelligence Community, which is now led by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI). The current director of the CIA is Porter J. Goss. The roles and functions of the CIA are roughly equivalent to those of the British MI6, the Australian Secret Intelligence Service, or the Israeli Mossad.

-D.A.R.P.A.
(Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) is using these Technologies to manipulate people with Mind Control Implants, Bio-Psi Units, ELF Devices capable of Mood, Sleep and Heartbeat Control, ect,ect.. They establish 'The Projects', set priorities, coordinate efforts and guide the many participants in these undertakings. Related Projects are studied at Sandia Base by "The Jason Group" (of 55 scientists). They have secretly harnessed the Dark Side of Technology and hidden the beneficial Technology from the Public.

-DAVID ADAIR
David Adair has had extraordinary experiences at Area 51 when, as a mere teenager, he said he examined a gigantic engine which had an "exoskeleton" shaped liked a number eight. Adair was asked to evaluate the object (which had a damaged core), based on work he had done with his own advanced rocketry.

-DIA
The Defense Intelligence Agency is a major producer and manager of intelligence for the United States Department of Defense. The DIA, designated in 1986 as a Defense Department combat support intelligence agency, was established in 1961. Approximately 7500 men and women work for DIA worldwide. The exact numbers and specific budget information are not publicly released due to security considerations. DIA is based in the Pentagon with major operational activities at the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center (DIAC), Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C., the Armed Forces Medical Intelligence Center (AFMIC), Fort Detrick, Maryland, and the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC), Huntsville, Alabama. The DIA is a member of the United States Intelligence Community reporting to the Director of National Intelligence.

-DOD
The United States Department of Defense, abbreviated as DoD or DOD and sometimes called the Defense Department, is a civilian Cabinet organization of the United States government. The Department of Defense controls the U.S. military and is headquartered at The Pentagon. It is headed by the Secretary of Defense, who is currently Donald Rumsfeld.

-DUGWAY PROVING GROUNDS
The US Army's Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) is a facility located approximately 85 miles (140 km) southwest of Salt Lake City, Utah. It encompasses approximately 800,000 acres (32 km) of the Great Salt Lake Desert and is surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges. Dugway's mission is to test US and Allied biological and chemical weapon defense systems, in a secure and isolated environment. DPG also serves as a facility for US Army Reserve and US National Guard maneuver training, and US Air Force flight tests. DPG is controlled by the US Army Test and Evaluation Command (TECOM).

-EBE
Acronym for Extra-terrestrial Biological Entities. This is the most commonly used term that is used to refer to aliens. This term seemed to come from the controversial Majestic-12 documents. This term has been frequently used in modern 'UFO' related tv/films such as the X-Files.

-EG&G
EG&G is a defense contractor and provider of management and technical services. The company was involved in contracting services to the United States government during World War II, and conducted weapons research and development after the war. Its close involvement with some of the U.S. Government's most sensitive technologies has led to it being cited in conspiracy theories related to Defense Department black projects. -LANL
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) (previously known at various times as Site Y, Los Alamos Laboratory, and Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory) is a United States Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratory, managed by the University of California, located in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The laboratory is one of the largest multidisciplinary institutions in the world. It is the largest institution and the largest employer in northern New Mexico with approximately 10,400 University of California employees plus approximately 2,800 contractor personnel.

Approximately one-third of the laboratory's technical staff members are physicists, one-fourth are engineers, one-sixth are chemists and materials scientists, and the remainder work in mathematics and computational science, biological science, geoscience, propulsion, physics, and other disciplines. Professional scientists and students also come to Los Alamos as visitors to participate in scientific projects. The staff collaborates with universities and industry in both basic and applied research to develop resources for the future. The annual budget is approximately USD 2.2 billion. Los Alamos is one of two laboratories in the United States where classified work towards the design of nuclear weapons is undertaken.

-LOCKHEED MARTIN
Lockheed Martin is an aerospace manufacturer and advanced technology company formed in 1995 by the merger of Lockheed Corporation with Martin Marietta. It is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, a community in Montgomery County, Maryland, and employs 135,000 people worldwide. Robert J. Stevens is the current Chairman, President, and CEO. Lockheed Martin is the world's largest defense contractor. As of 2005, 95% of Lockheed Martin's revenues came from the U.S. Department of Defense, other U.S. federal government agencies, and foreign military customers.

It was recently announced in May of 2005 that the Lockheed Martin Corporation and the Boeing Company have entered into an agreement to create a joint venture that will combine the production, engineering, testing and launch operations associated with U.S. government launches of Boeing Delta and Lockheed Martin Atlas rockets. It is called the United Launch Alliance. Hellendale RCS Test Range is the Lockheed facility that is adjacent to what used to be the Hellendale auxiliary airport, six miles to the north of Hellendale, California. This installation also has the "runway" features of Tejon Ranch but also has a visible underground entrance.

-MCDONNELL DOUGLAS
McDonnell Douglas was a major American aerospace manufacturer, producing a number of famous commercial and military aircraft. It has been part of Boeing since 1997. Following Boeing's 1996 acquisition of Rockwell's North American division, McDonnell Douglas and Boeing merged in 1997 in a $13 billion stock-swap to create The Boeing Company (Future aircraft also became Boeing Aircraft after that). The Llano Facility is the McDonnell Douglas facility that is located at the now closed Gray Butte airport, northeast of Llano, California. It too has "runways" with diamond-shaped openings through which huge pylons with strange-shaped objects can be mounted and raised to the surface.

-MJ 12
Majestic-12 or Majic 12 (sometimes written simply as MJ-12 or MJ-XII) is the code name of an alleged secret committee of high-level scientists, military leaders, and government officials, supposedly formed in 1947 at the direction of U.S. President Harry S. Truman. The purpose was to investigate UFO activity in the aftermath of the Roswell UFO incident, the purported crash of an alien spaceship near Roswell, New Mexico in July 1947. This alleged committee is an important part of the UFO conspiracy theory of an ongoing government cover up of UFO information.

The primary evidence of a group with this name is a series of questionable documents that first emerged in 1984 and which have been the subject of much debate. The original MJ-12 documents state that "the Majestic 12 (Majic 12) group ... was established by secret executive order of President Truman on 24 September, 1947, upon recommendation by Dr. Vannevar Bush and Secretary of Defense James Forrestal." Dr. Bush was named as head of the group.

The existence of MJ-12 has been denied by the United States government, which insists that documents suggesting its existence are hoaxed. The FBI investigated the documents, and concluded they were forgeries. Opinions among UFO researchers and enthusiasts are divided: Some argue the documents may be genuine, others contend they are phony, due primarily to errors in formatting and chronology.

-NASA
The National Aeronautic and Space Administration. It was established in 1958 to co-ordinate and direct aeronautical and space research program in the United States. Its budget for space activities alone is larger than the general budgets of a number of the worlds important countries. Although officially a civilian agency, NASA collaborates with the CIA, NRO, NSA and others, and many of its personnel have high security clearances owing to the sensitive aspects of many of its programs. Research into UFOs is one such program.

-NORAD
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is a joint United States and Canadian organization which provides aerospace warning and aerospace control for North America. It was founded on May 12, 1958 under the name North American Air Defense Command. From 1963, NORAD's main technical facility has been located at Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado. While the terms "NORAD" and "Cheyenne Mountain" are often used interchangeably to describe the facility, NORAD is the name of the Command, while Cheyenne Mountain is the name of the facility. The facility is hosted by the U.S. Air Force, under the command of the 721st Mission Support Group, part of the 21st Space Wing, headquartered out of Peterson Air Force Base.

-NORTHROP GRUMMAN CORPORATION
The Northrop Grumman Corporation is an aerospace and defense conglomerate that is the result of the 1994 purchase of Grumman by Northrop. Major components added later with the acquisition of Westinghouse Electronic Systems, Logicon, Teledyne Ryan, Litton (Ingalls, Avondale), Newport News, and TRW (sans LucasVarity.) Ronald Sugar is the CEO.

Tejon Ranch is the Northrop facility that is known as "The Tejon Ranch" and is sometimes referred to as "The Tehachapi Ranch" by UFO researchers. It is located in the foothills of the Tehachapi mountains, at the mouth of Little Oak Canyon about 25 miles northwest of Lancaster, California. It is not under restricted airspace. Although the public is told that this is a cattle ranch, no livestock are visible anywhere on the property. UFO researcher Bill Hamilton says that if asked, Northrop Corporation will say that this is an "electromagnetic research facility."

-NSA
The National Security Agency / Central Security Service (NSA/CSS) is believed to be the largest United States government intelligence agency. It is responsible for the collection and analysis of foreign communications and for the security of U.S. government communications against similar agencies elsewhere. Established by a U.S. presidential executive order, the NSA works closely with the Department of Defense and has always been directed by a three-star flag or general officer. NSA is a key component of the United States Intelligence Community headed by the Director of National Intelligence.

Its eavesdropping mission includes radio broadcasting, both from various organizations and individuals, the Internet, and other intercepted forms of communication, especially confidential communications. Its secure communications mission includes military, diplomatic, and all other sensitive, confidential or secret government communications. Despite having been described as the world's largest single employer of Ph.D. mathematicians, the owner of the single largest group of supercomputers, and having a budget much larger than that of the CIA, it has had a remarkably low profile until recent years. For a long time its existence was not even acknowledged by the US government. It was often said, half-jokingly, that "NSA" stood for "No Such Agency" or "Never Say Anything".

-PLANT 42
United States Air Force Plant 42 is a federally-owned military aerospace facility in Palmdale, California where aerospace contractors share a common runway complex, and either lease building space from the Air Force, or own their own building outright (commonly referred to as GOCO, or Government Owned Contractor Operated). There are eight separate production sites specially suited for advanced technology and/or "black" program projects. Currently the most well known contractors at Plant 42 are Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman.

Located in the southern Antelope Valley, Plant 42 is strategically located near Los Angeles area defense and aerospace contractor companies, as well as Edwards Air Force Base's high-speed test corridors used under the direction of the base's Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC).

-ROSWELL UFO CASE
In July 1947 a flying saucer crashed near Corona, New Mexico during a violent night-time thunderstorm. The next morning, Mac Brazel found some wreckage on his ranch spread over about half a mile which neither he nor his family could identify.

Three days later he took some wreckage to show to the local sheriff, George Wilcox, who in turn contacted Roswell Air Army Field and told Major Jesse Marcel of the situation. He inspected the wreckage that Mac Brazel had brought with him to the sheriffs office and then reported to his commanding officer, William Blanchard. He ordered Marcel to get someone (Sheridan Cavitt) from counter intelligence to collect as much wreckage from Brazels ranch as they could onto their two vehicles, the wreckage was then collected and flown to Washington, via Fort Worth. The next day, Marcel and Cavitt returned to Brazels ranch to collect more wreckage to take back to Roswell AAF.

Cavitt went straight there whereas Marcel stopped on the way to show his family some of the wreckage, in particular, a small piece of tin-foil like material which would bend and be folded quite happily, but would continually fold back out into shape leaving no crease whatsoever. There was also a piece of very light plastic like material, except it wasn't plastic. It was like a wooden dowel and was a couple of inches long. It would bend slightly, but you couldn't scratch, cut, burn or melt it. Meanwhile, Lydia Sleppy at Roswell Radio station KSWS was transmitting a story about the crashed saucer over the teletype when transmission was interrupted by someone claiming to represent the FBI.

The Army initially released a story to the press saying that they had captured a flying saucer, but then quickly put out another story saying they hadn't got a saucer, just a weather balloon. It was not a weather balloon. Mac Brazel was placed under house arrest for a week whilst his ranch was combed for more debris, and it was then when the main saucer body was found, complete with four aliens, two dead, one seriously injured and another attending to it which seemed to be unharmed. Mac Brazel was then told that he shouldn't tell anybody about what he had found. He was rumoured to have been bribed with a freezer (very expensive at that time).

-S-4
Area S-4 is located just southwest of Area 51. Over the mountain range that many speculate is a huge underground base. S-4 (Papoose Lake). Bob Lazar is the main reason the public is aware of Groom and Papoose Lake today. When he went public in 1989, he ignited a firestorm of interest in Area 51 which burns to this day. As most of you already know, Lazar described how he was flown from Las Vegas to Groom Lake, then taken on a bus with blacked out side windows to a facility he determined was known as S-4.

Lazar claims to have received a short briefing paper about two pages long which essentially stated that extraterrestrial exist, they have been involved in human history and their spacecraft are being housed at S-4. Lazar described the facility as being built into the base of the Papoose Range, with 9 hangar doors sloped at about a 60 degree angle. He said the doors had a sand-like texture coating to them, and Gene Huff later said the doors were rollup type doors. There were 9 of the hangar bays in all.

-SKUNK WORKS
Lockheed's famed Skunk Works is at Site 10 of the complex (actually private property with secure access to Plant 42 airfield), near Sierra Highway, and relocated to Plant 42 from its original Burbank Airport (now Bob Hope Airport) site in Burbank after the end of the Cold War. Its present hangar was constructed in 1968 and the outer walls of the structure were put up in a matter of days. Its hangar originally was built for the Lockheed L-1011 Tristar passenger jet project. Lockheed Martin owns certain buildings at Site 10 which it uses.

-STAN FRIEDMAN
Stanton Friedman (born July 29, 1934, Elizabeth, New Jersey) is a physicist and ufologist, currently residing in New Brunswick, Canada. He is arguably the best-known UFO lecturer in North America, and has made a living writing books and giving paid lectures about his views regarding the UFO phenomenon at hundreds of colleges and universities in the USA, Canada, and Europe for the past 29 years.

-TONOPAH TEST RANGE
(also known as Tonopah, TTR and Sandia Strip.) A semi-secret air base and surrounding testing area in the Nellis Range complex about 30 miles southeast of the town of Tonopah. The base was the primary testing ground for the F-117A stealth fighter before it was made public. Approximate location of base: N3748', W11647'.

-TOP SECRET
The term Top Secret can be applied to information, actions, organizations, projects, etc. of which any knowledge is highly restricted or classified. Some Top Secret material is so classified that it is held within Special Access Programs (or SAPs), and only those with a need-to-know are allowed to know about it. If you have a Top Secret clearance but do not have the need-to-know, you will not be allowed any access. -UFO
Abbreviation for "Unidentified Flying Object". The USAF defines a UFO as: Anything that relates to any airborne object which by performance, aerodynamic characteristics, or unusual features does not conform to any presently known aircraft or missile type, or which cannot be identified as a familiar object.
