Welcome to the group for Illinois Libertarians on MySpace.

"Libertarians believe the answer to America's political problems is the same commitment to freedom that earned America its greatness: a free-market economy and the abundance and prosperity it brings; a dedication to civil liberties and personal freedom that marks this country above all others; and a foreign policy of non-intervention, peace, and free trade as prescribed by America's founders." - The Libertarian Party's Platform

Thank you for joining Illinois Libertarians and supporting the Party of Principle. Hopefully together we can help make a difference in Illinois by standing up for our beliefs in libertarianism and send a clear message to Republicans and Democrats that we will no longer stand for a two party system.

This group is not officially affiliated with the Libertarian Party or the Libertarian Party of Illinois

Not sure if you're a Libertarian or not?

So you're a Libertarian, but you think a vote for a 3rd party is a wasted vote:
There is no such thing as a wasted vote, as long as that vote is a vote for what you believe in. A wasted vote is a vote for policies that you do not support. Only by voting what you truly believe will things ever change in a democracy.
