Khaosan road in Bangkok is known for its relatively cheap guesthouses, bars & restaurants with constant new release movies, night clubs and numerous travel agents. Over the years Khaosan Road has become more and more commercialized attracting not only the foreign backpackers but also the younger Thai generation, who love to meet and make friends with the foreign tourists.

Where else around Rattanakosin Road, Bangkok, Thailand, area that's gonna be much cooler than this lively street. Khaosan road opens probably 24 hours a day and provides inexpensive accommodations, foods and fun for tourists. Jammed pack with travelers from around the world, make this street looks like a foreign community
When the night comes, Khaosan road gets more life. The taxi and tuk-tuk have been ordered not to get into the street between 19:00-22:00. The street isn't getting any less crowded because the cars have been replaced by people walking on the street instead. Restaurants extend their tables and seats on to the street for the customers to enjoy the outdoor activity. Most of the restaurants here also have a big screen tv showing several hot from the theater movies. Food stalls can be seen everywhere along the kerbside serving thai style fastfoods ranging from 10-baht Phat Thai to grilled corn on the cob. Merchants put stalls on the footpath from one end to another selling all kind of products and souvenirs. Life is keep going on and on until it dwindles down by midnite like this everyday excluding Wednesday which Bangkok deploys a city regulation of no allowance for peddlers and stalls on the street.
