Welcome to Datamancer's Lab, or Datamancer Slab, if you prefer to interpret the url that way. I like both.

I made this group for people who don't get quite enough spam from me regularly via bulletins, email, and group posts.

Members will receive, in addition to the Datamancer Club Secret Decoder Ring, regular updates on projects I have completed, projects I have in the works, and research, background and the inspiration for some of my asinine contraptions and pointless art projects.

For anyone just stumbling across this group, I am an artist, inventor, tinkerer, hot rodder, gearhead, psuedoscientist, scavenger, cyberpunk philosopher, computer nerd, craftsman, etc, etc, etc from Edison, New Jersey. 'Datamancer' has been my ultra-nerdly 1337 internet handle for many years now. To answer the question forming in your mind right now...yes, this does make me the biggest dork ever. Thank you. I'm also known as Doc, CoupeDeVillain, AmishRakeWarrior, GypsyGlyph, Gomi No Sensei, CleverMonniker, That Bastard Who Pissed in My Ficas, Skilz, Lift, and about a thousand others.

This group will be sort of a mixed bag. One day I might unveil some sort of robot or exoskeletal powered armor suit, the next day it might be some cool metalwork I did on one of my hot rods. It could equally likely be a piece of jewelry, a chunk of PHP code, a poem, some photography or a customized computer.
Who knows? I sure as hell don't.

Feel free to post comments, recommendations, questions, or ego-strokings. I enjoy the feedback and idea exchange.

Join up, tell your friends, make me famous...please?

My normal website is www.Datamancer.net. A lot of this stuff will be mirrored from the site, but this will be the interactive portion of my web portfolio. I love to learn and I love to teach, so whenever possible, I try to display things in a 'how-to' format, but often I just dont have the time to write everything up, so if you want to know how a did something, ask, and I'll try to break it down for you (unless its some kind of trade secret, in which case I will tell you anyway, then throttle the life from you with a string of sausage links)

pax,
