For anyone throughout the world involved with or looking to start a simple or house church... This group does not insist house churches are the "only way" to have a church, just a way which is appealing to many of us. For those who want to live Radical lives for Jesus Christ

Having been a Christian most of my life and having seen Institutional Christianity up close, I have observed it is often fairly dead, usually stifles growth, the gifts and drives people away in droves. American Christianity seems much like the Laodecian Church/ In response set out to write a book called "Resurrecting the Dead Church." After reading dozens of books for research I came across two that really helped turn my faith on it's head. The first one was called "The Irresistible Revolution" by Shane Claiboure. I must admit I did have some serious questions over parts of the book, but as a whole I found the authors perspective challenging and helpful. The Second was called "Houses that Change the World" by Wolfgang Simson. Both were calling for something radical, and it has always been my conclusion that if a life is not radically set apart for Christ, it's not set apart for Christ.

Quick Reasons why house churches…
-It’s Biblical! This is the way the early Church Started!
-A smaller church means a more family like atmosphere naturally more accountability must happen here.
-Traditions and rituals that have no meaning are either given more meaning or dropped, the faith truly becomes about relationships not religion
-Small numbers force participation, which force spiritually Growth
-This allows for longer meetings around meal times and allows the group to address specific problems and concerns as they come up, so it is more likely to be lead by the Holy Spirit then an Agenda
-The smaller a church is the faster it grows because people seek intimate relationships, not mega churches… Example the average church of 1 to 100 people in 5 years will grow 64%. Churches in excess of 1000+ will only grow 4% in 4 years.
