Lucid Nation is a new kind of rock and roll band, led by me writer/artist Tamra Spivey. I'm also associate producer of The Gits movie.
We've opened for Bikini Kill, Team Dresch, Sleater Kinney, The Breeders, Jejune, Joan of Arc, John Sinclair, Wayne Kramer.
We've had a number one hit on college radio, been CMJ Top Ten three times, without any help from a corporate record label.
Because most kids can't buy music online and I won't sell through evil empires like Walmart we've decided to give away all of our songs for free download by MP3, RSS and podcast. 167 so far with more on the way. Stories and pictures, too. Live tracks, out takes, album tracks, experiments!
