SocialActivistYouth esta diseñada para proveer un espacio de aprendizaje a los jóvenes latinos donde ellos puedan conversar, discutir, y aprender sobre diferentes asuntos que les afecta a ellos y a sus comunidades. Los temas en disputa varían desde economía, educación, política, sociología, discriminación, hasta relaciones interpersonales e interacción intercultural con otros grupos y etnias.

SocialActivistYouth is designed to provide Latino youth an open forum where they can chat, discuss and learn about different issues affecting themselves and their communities. The range of topics varies from economics, education, politics, social issues, discrimination, to interpersonal relationships and intercultural communication with other groups. The Portland Latino Youth Network program derives from the Latino Network organization within. It includes a very specific curriculum, which is only targeted to Latino youth to reduce the number of school dropouts and empower them in various areas of their lives.
