The Sword & Shield is a Mystic based Order open to all different types of religions. We have
Wiccan's, Alchemist, Gnostic's, Celtic's, Druids, Independent Christians, Buddhist's, Sufi's and many other faiths. We have only four rules of our order:
1. Agape: Meaning Love
2. Vertias- Meaning Truth
3. Thelema- Meaning Will
4. Benedties (Can't spell this one very well, it's Latin): Meaning Beneficial, to others.
Our laws, which are the same as the three laws of Magick:
1. Cover you Ass.
2. If you can't make it, fake it.
3. Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke, joke 'em if they can't take a fuck.
The Sword & Shield is a 32 year old Order founded on February 8, 1974. We are closely associated with the Rosicrucian's. Sharing many of the same beliefs, ideas and core views. There are some notable differences between our order and Rosicrucian’s, but mostly we believe and accept the same things. The notable difference between the Rosicrucian’s and us is that during your advancement in the Sword & Shield, you have to bring the person in with initiation rituals.
So all other beliefs and practices will vary usually vary from person to person. In generally the Gnostic's in the group, like myself, have beliefs are about more of the Mystical side of Christ. Many of our member's beliefs, ideas, thoughts, discoveries, theories etc, come from the topics below. All we ask is that you be in search of the truth. The Sword & Shield is an actual order based out of Boston, Massachusetts. We have member's, brothers and sisters, all across the country and around the world. Membership is free, since you shouldn't have to pay to know the truth. There are 7 degree's in Sword & Shield. In order to get your 1st degree, all you have to do is ask. I'm head the Sword & Shield Grotto for the State of Georgia and the Lower South. If you are just looking for contacts with other Gnostic's or looking to find meet other Mystic, Gnostic or Independent Order's, well you've found the right place. Feel free to post any discussion topics, documents, interesting facts, theories, ideas, thoughts, questions, discoveries, and so on in the discussion board, or forum. You are not obligated to join the actual Sword & Shield Order when you join this MySpace Group. This is just a group to help bring other Gnostic's, Mystic's, & Independent truth seekers together so that we help each other as we go through this present earthly incarnation. So this way we can help others on there journey and be helped by others when we need it. This is a place to meet other like minded people, discuss interesting Mystical ideas, religions and religious ideas and other topics. Feel free to post discussions on any of the stuff listed above or anything that isn't, but relates to these topics.

6. No trying to attack, harass, destroy, bother, bash, make fun of, curse, spell craft, etc. against members of this group or others. The reason this group is private and not public is due to the breaking of this rule.
7. Failure to follow any of these rules will result in immediate expulsion of the person or person's breaking them. Please not that I operate under the philosophy that I will trust you until you give me as reason not to.
