Welcome to Future Leaders of Music Business
The goal of the FLoMB is to connect people either in, or entering, the business end of music as professionals. It is a non-genre-specific place to exchange ideas, find & share information about the industry, share tips and leads, network, gather advice, etc.
Who this group is for:
- Major and Indpendent Label Professionals
- Producers
- Managers
- Concert Promoters
- Promoters
- Booking Agents
- Publicists
- Interested Students
- Assistants
- Interns
- Talent Bookers
- Radio Programmers - College, Indy, Webcast, Broadcast, Satellite, etc.
- Venue Managers/Owners
- Lawyers/Law Students
- Voice Teachers, etc.
In order to attempt to keep maintain the integrity and focus of this group, I've made it private, disabled bulletins, and there are a few rules. This will probably change in the near future.
Violating these rules will lead to your post being deleted and possible banning:
DO NOT post album releases, individual performances (Preview showcases are OK), etc. where they don't belong.
DO NOT ask questions like "How can I get a deal?" you will be BANNED IMMEDIATELY. This is not the correct forum for that kind of question/discussion.
If you would like to post an ad in bulletin form, (ie. for an upcoming networking event) feel free to send me a message.
You must be a member to post. It makes moderating MUCH easier.
Everything else is fair game. Enjoy.
