This is for people who support the election of Bob Menendez for a whole 6 year term. He was the child of poor Cuban immigrants who got his start in politics at age 19, when he petitioned for reform on the Union City school board. He also has shown great ethics; when he saw his mentor abusing the public trust, he testified against him in court. He was elected to the house, where he has carved out a proud legacy of working in the public interest, and as of January 2006, moved into Corzine's senate seat, becoming the first ever minority Senator in New Jersey's history.

However, he faces a difficult fight to keep this seat in November 2006. State Senator Tom Kean, Jr. (R-Westfield) is planning on challenging him for the seat. His father was a very popular moderate Republican governor, however, the younger Kean is considerably more conservative than his father; he supports the war, is in favour of confirming Sam Alito, wants to privatize social security, and cut education funding even further. We must let everyone know that a vote for Kean, JR. is a vote for furthering the Bush agenda.
