Together We Are One Life Source with the Illusion of Being Many. The ultimate explanation is: Because all manifested beings resonate at a different frequency. Resonating at a different frequency we appear differentiated. At the conclusion of what humans call "Life" we enter the process of de-differentiation. This de-differentiation is the loss of specialization in form. This group is for Those Who Believe That The Creator Does Not Discriminate Between Race, Sex, Gender, Age, Class, Beliefs Or Disbeliefs, Nation, Or For Any Reason. If your disillusioned with all the rest of the groups Celebrate Life - Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, give thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone). THE PRINCIPLES OF ATTITUDINAL HEALING 1. The essence of our being is love. 2. Health is inner peace. Healing is letting go of fear. 3. Giving and receiving are the same. 4. We can let go of the past and the future. 5. Now is the only time there is and each instant is for giving. 6. We can learn to love ourselves and others by forgiving rather than judging. 7. We can become love finders rather than fault finders. 8. We can choose and direct ourselves to be peaceful inside regardless of what is happening outside. 9. We are students and teachers to each other. 10. We can focus on the whole of life rather than the fragments. 11. Since love is eternal death need not be viewed as fearful. 12. We can always perceive ourselves and others as either extending love or giving a call for help. Guidelines for Attitudinal Healing Groups Center groups exist to be safe places where people can learn to use Attitudinal Healing. The following guidelines have been developed to assure that a safe space is provided. Please feel free to use them for your own group if you wish. 1. In the groups, we recognize that love is listening, and we agree to listen with an open heart, to give mutual support and to practice non-judgmental listening and sharing. 2. We are here to heal ourselves. We are not here to give advice or to change anyone's beliefs or behavior. Being accepted as we are makes it easier for us to accept others. <br /> 3. We share from our own experience. By risking and exposing our own emotional state, we find common experience that allows for joining. <br /> 4. We respect ourselves and each other as unique; we recognize that each person's process is important, not our judgment of it. 5. We support each other's inner guidance and assist one another in finding our own best answers. 6. The roles of student and teacher are interchangeable. They fluctuate from one to the other regardless of age or experience. 7. We practice being present with others, seeing each person as whole, and not defining them by their appearance, mood, behavior or circumstance. 8. We agree to keep in mind that we always have a choice between peace and conflict; between love and fear. 9. We respect the confidentiality of what each of us shares in group, recognizing that this is important for maintaining the group as a place of safety and trust. <br /> _________________________________________ New pesticide is no strawberry shortcake (reprint for discussion) By NEIL SCHORE Created: 10/27/2009 02:30:41 AM PDT Early last week, the Department of Pesticide Regulation released transcripts from a scientific hearing held last month tasked with determining whether or not a new pesticide should be allowed for use on California's crops, especially strawberries. And while strawberry harvests are winding down across the state, concerns over the use of methyl iodide are growing. What is evident from the transcripts is that leading scientists who have reviewed the proposed use of methyl iodide, from a diversity of disciplines, have serious concerns about this chemical. I shared these concerns before the Assembly Labor and Employment Committee earlier this year. For years, members of the agricultural community have relied on the use of methyl bromide as a soil fumigant. Soil fumigants are meant to literally sterilize the soil, killing everything both bad and good, prior to planting a crop. And unfortunately, they are very toxic. Furthermore, they are very prone to drift through the air away from their intended target and onto homes, schools and workers. If registered by DPR as a soil fumigant, methyl iodide would be applied in agricultural fields at rates up to 175 pounds per acre. California, one of the only states that conducts reviews of new pesticides, plans to determine whether or not to allow the chemical's use by year's end. The rush to approve methyl iodide follows national efforts to replace methyl bromide, a fumigant that is being phased out globally because it is an ozone depletor. The scientific evidence of potential harm from exposure to methyl iodide is overwhelming. It is heavily linked to miscarriages late in pregnancy, and low survival rates in baby animals exposed in utero and after birth. Methyl iodide also causes cancer, thyroid disease, and nervous system poisoning. Methyl iodide is considerably more toxic than methyl bromide and also considerably heavier. It therefore contaminates the ground level air for much longer, rather than dissipating rapidly into the upper atmosphere. Finally, methyl iodide is a very persistent contaminant of both soil and ground water, remaining present in significant amounts for many months. The transcripts from the past week underscore a letter from a group of over fifty of the nation's most eminent scientists, including five Nobel Laureates that raised serious objections to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's approval of the product. These colleagues sent a letter to the EPA stating, "Because of methyl iodide's high volatility and water solubility, broad use of this chemical in agriculture will guarantee substantial releases to air, surface waters and groundwater, and will result in exposures for many people. In addition to the potential for increased cancer incidence, EPA's own evaluation of the chemical also indicates that methyl iodide causes thyroid toxicity, permanent neurological damage, and fetal losses in experimental animals." The letter concludes, "It is astonishing that the Office of Pesticide Programs is working to legalize broadcast releases of one of the more toxic chemicals used in manufacturing into the environment." The health concerns raised by methyl iodide suggest the need for continued exploration of safer alternatives. The good news is that the University of California Cooperative Extension has already experimented with alternatives to pesticide use, including steam and heat. And right here in our backyard, Woodland businesses like Pacific Star Garden grow strawberries without the use of any fumigant pesticides. The preponderance of scientific evidence suggests that methyl iodide has no place in agriculture. The risks to health, both farm workers and communities, are far too great. links: <a href="http://www.prisonplanet.com/british-medical-journal-half-of-health-workers-reject-h1n1-vaccine.html</a> -- Dr. Neil Schore received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Columbia University in 1973.
