What We Are:
This group is all about photoshop. Here we hold weekly photoshop contests, based on a certain theme.
Every week I will release a set of rules and a theme for the week's project. I then would collect all of the
entries and judge them, placing them in first to third. At first I will be judging them by myself until I can
maybe get a judging staff. (If you are interested in being a judge, message me) This is also a place to
just hang out and even show off some of your random work for critique.
Example
Here is an example of an entry, if we were to say the theme was "A touch of blessing".
Rules:
1.
No advertising. This is a spam-free zone. This includes posting links to your sites to increase
activity there. This also includes providing links to other competition sites in order to gain votes
for yourself. Links will only be allowed if it is truelly relevant to the topic, or it is in the Runway
Section to get critique on a piece of work, such as deviantART.
2.
No obsessive cursing. I don't care if you cuss and swear but if you do it over the edge, I will
warn you. Especially if is directly toward another member in a harrassing fashion.
3.
No porn. There is a reason I made this a non-mature group.
4.
No ripping. In my contests I will not allow ripping of any type. I will allow character renders,
cutouts, and stock, but only if they are public and not copyrighted.
5. A)
Have respect. Have respect towards fellow members and photoshop users, naturally.
B)
Be kind. If someone wants help towards their work in the Runway Section, don't flame them
for their efforts, even if it is the biggest flaming piece of whatever. Give them encouraging and
helpful tips.
6.
Have fun. I had to add that just because it's so corny.
Notes:
This group site is still under contruction, seeing how I just made it. I have about 10 members right now. If I get a couple more, probably 15, I will start the first contest. On top of that, I'm not sure
if I want the contests to be every week or two weeks. I will see how things go.
