As the largest third party in the United States the Libertarian Party is dedicated to the resurgence of Jeffersonian Ideal. We must grow beyond our past actions and finally seek to overtake one of the other parties as a player is this two party system. This means re-asserting our allegiance to the U.S. as many have questioned our patriotism in the recent past and a devoting our time and our money to the accomplishment of that goal, for a goal such as the one we have set will take time and patience with the system. It is not perfect as many have pointed out in the past, but to effect real change we must possess real power; that power comes in numbers.

As too often the National Party gets bogged down in unimportant partisan bickering the task of recruitment has fallen to the College affiliates. We seek to swell our numbers not through backbiting or attacks on the other parties but through reason and righteousness. One of the founders of the Libertarian movement once said that our movement will gain momentum because we are reasonable and we will win because we are right. We have gain momentum in the past thirty years since our Parties inception but we have failed to win; because winning is not always about being right. To win we must use the system to our advantage.
