I am working with one other person who has been in contact with the Spokane Parks Department to try and get an off leash dog park in Spokane. Not some little small fenced in one near a dump but a large one at least 5 to 10 acres near water. I'll be working on this more in the Spring time when I have more time as I am currently traveling on business. First thing we need to do is create a group similar to the ones on the other side of the state like C.O.L.A http://www.coladog.org/ and hopefully we can have parks like http://www.seattle.gov/parks/parkspaces/yodogs.htm and the crown jewel of all dog parks! http://eastsidedog.com/dog_parks.htm I'll try my best to get this to happen it may be slow going but we will need your support when the time comes....
