I was born Arthur Lee Dennies Jr. on January 5th 1975 to Arthur and Lorraine Dennies. In St. Petersburg Florida. Early on as a child I would write songs as games. But never really shared with anyone out of embarrassment. But later in life as he seen some of his Friends getting into he developed a liking for it. Mainly R&b was the type of music that was done. In 1993 while visiting a cousin's house I accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour. I didn't fully understand it then but it makes so much more sense to me know. Mainly because I knew that I was missing something in my life. Now starting out I still wasn't really feeling Gospel music. Sorry Folks it just wasn't my thing. But I did at least end up with a church home which by the way is my church home today (Genesis Worship Center Church under Pastor Linda Sesler). So from there I actually did a short stint in the Army Reserves. The main part that sticks out to me was Basic training and AIT.

Mainly because there is where I really started getting into singing. I remember I would go to church on Sunday to get out of working on that day. I know sad but true. We would be rehearsing for the choir and somehow me and the others would end up singing secular. After wards we would go and sing hymns. From there I really just kicked around for a while until the day that I met my future Wife Latrice Robinson. I really have to say that if it weren't for her I would still be running the streets. But she's the one that actually got me to go back to the church I joined back in 1993. I got back involved in it, With such things as Being in the Choir and the Praise and Worship Team. I even remember my first solo. It was sung in front of our presiding Bishop Her Grace Corletta J. Vaughn. and it was nerve racking because it was a song she wrote. From there I actually finally started writing God based songs. My first one being a song entitled Abundantly. Since then I've been at it trying to improve upon my writing and vocal ability so that I can glorify his name.
