EXIT/IN IS BEING SHUT DOWN

The rich-bitch bastardocracy that America is becoming has flaunted its' putred tongue once again! see:

for the full article.

Pay attention to the quote "The Environmental Task Force makes surprise inspections after receiving complaints from the police or from the public." The environment? The Police? A task force for the environment should be hassling frog-giggers and chemical plants. To influence the inside seating arrangement of an iconic staple of a city, state, and musical birthplace can only happen if someone has a lot of cash, and wants the property for their own future profitability.

BULLSHIT

Someone with unamerican money wants the prime property, much like the "eminent domain" clause that our government sells out to over and over again.

This crap cannot happen.

I am as of today starting a myspace group called Elliston in the 80's. The purpose is to come together and have a 20yr reunion, to the likes of rites of spring, but in the street- or should I say say Square of Elliston, to benefit (not Exit/In themselves as a business) but the survival of hometown America. This will be a (tax-deductible) weekend for both performers and sponsors. I have already petitioned Metropolitan Nashville/Davidson County for the right to block off approximately 300 yds of city street (from Krispy Kreme to TGI Fridays). By producing this weekend event, I intend to focus all proceeds toward creating a moratorium against the eminent domain process in regards to historic music sites and venues. This would provide rights to places like Exit/In much like Graceland exists under, assuming that the particular site has been in existence for 20yrs minimum, and can prove historical value.
The technicalities of said political (moratorium) effort will be set before the performance weekend, and will be made formal within the next few weeks.
Musicians including Royal Court of China, Walk the West, Rumble Circus, The Movement, the White Animals, Smokin' Dave and the Premo Dopes, and Webb Wilder have tentatively commited to performing in September.
If the bully-boy, buy-out bitches try to push their political bullshit through sooner than that, we will react accordingly.

Letting this go through would be like requiring school children to say a pledge of allegance to John Tesh.
