  • About 5,000 people camp for the weekend at the Philadelphia Folk Festival. Camping is by weekend pass only and you must Camp Road Sign have a camping ticket to enter the campgrounds.

The campgrounds has designated areas for both light camping (tents) and heavy camping (vehicles), which are in two separate areas of the campground. In 1997 we created a "quieter" Camping Area for families and those who want less partying. This is within the light camping area.

If you come to camp be prepared, because once you get there, sleep will be minimal and life gets kicked up a notch. people gather once a year to celebrate whatever it is that people celebrate around that time of the year There is a great lineup this year, and the campground is always great, so hop on that plain train automobile, bike, donkey, or whatever your ride of choice may be and come party with us in Shwenksville PA.
