If you are a practicing Muslim or Muslima and you wish to gain a deeper insight into tasawwuf, come in. If you are not a practicing dervish, then ask -- don't tell. If you have never taken beyyat with a shaykh, then you don't know the Path.

Sufism is not something you learn from a book or from a couple of talks or lectures. Sufism is a way of life practiced within the Shari'ah of the Religion of Islam by practicing Muslims and Muslimas who have the guidance of a scholar and spiritual guide at the helm of their ships; a person who reflects the personality of the Prophet s.a.a.s., his best companions, and his best family members -- may Allah s.w.t. be pleased with them.

It is the sincere wish of the founder of this group that those who will come to share their insights in this group will be insightful, mature Muslims and Muslimas with a high degree of adab. There are plenty of other groups out there that allow anyone to take part in them and post whatever they feel is related to Sufism. I have seen too much trash paraded as if it were tasawwuf.

This group will not censor your language so long as it is appropriate. It will however, delete useless comments that have nothing to do with tasawwuf.
