The Populist Party fights for the interests of all Americans - equally! The goal of this group is to act as an open place to discuss matters of democracy, liberty, the Bill of Rights, and the US Constitution - all of which encompass important places in the Populist Movement.

Join us in fighting for liberty - which is the freedom to live without the government interference we face at nearly every turn. Join us in opposing the behemoth state apparatus that the coporate-backed two-party system has built. It's time to stop focusing on the "lesser of two evils" and start focusing on building a future that we'll be proud of. There is simply too much at stake not to fight for the values of liberty and justice for all that once made us stronger at home and more respected in the world.

Our goal with this group is to raise awareness of important issues, and foster debate and discussion - which are essential for any free society to flourish. We'll be posting articles for you to comment on, and your input is welcomed as well...

"Many have said that when we think about those who designed our constitution we should consider it venerable, and without hesitation; that they were the greatest wisdom of the times, and had no goal but the good of the people. I do not doubt all this, but the facts of how our nation has since then developed, as well as the facts of our current situation, should not be easily disregarded. To ignore the problems we faced in the past, those that we face today, and those that we will face in the future would be a great injustice to ourselves and generations yet to come."

- Franklin, Populist No. 11

Technorati Profile

"The Revolution was effected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments of their duties and obligations. This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and the affections of the people, was the real American Revolution."

- President John Adams
