Have you ever truly wanted to be a hero, to make a impact on the world, to change all the problems of society, and connect everybody through a mutual goal of compassion and kindness?

Make an Impact -- Help People -- Connect our Community with Compassion and Kindness

This group, along with our non-profit ME-3, will help bring together all the people in our area (and beyond, perhaps, as we expand) who want to make a big difference in our community. Here, you can communicate with others and create and plan service projects to benefit the community, talk about your own volunteer ideas, and give suggestions on local events that help out the community and ralley people to the cause!

We recognize that every individual has the potential to make a difference in the world, but that sometimes we all need a little guidance. We're a non-profit organization dedicated to:

1. Motivating and encouraging individuals to take that first step and get out there in our community and make a difference! Volunteer, teach a kid to read, make your neighbor smile, or do whatever crazy thing you've always wanted to do to help improve people's lives but haven't tried because you thought to yourself, "Well, what difference will it make anyways?"

2. Educating people, especially students, on how they can best make an impact. According to studies, 61% of non-volunteers don't get involved in the community because they just don't know how to start!

3. Empowering individuals to take a stand for what they believe in and connecting them, using all our resources, with other like-minded people and with organizations that could benefit from their services!

4. Engaging the community with awesome, unique projects that provoke new ways of thinking about "making a difference," "volunteering," and "saving the world." We don't just want to do the same old stuff. Our outreach projects are always unique and completely different, designed to re-arrange people's thoughts on the "Social Compact" of America, not just get a person to volunteer for a day. America's Social Compact has been broken through years of people sitting still, staying quiet, and not reaching out to help their neighbors because of fear and not understanding what they can really do to make a difference. ME-3 wants to show everyone that it is each individual's responsibility to help others when they can and to live with passion.

Some of our projects include Free Community Car Washes, during which we offer NO-DONATIONS-ACCEPTED Car Washes to Triangle area in exchange for the individual's promise of two good deeds. We also give presentations on the importance of volunteerism and connect the community to awesome events that are fun and support charitable endeavors. ME-3 isn't about gaining volunteers for ourselves-- we can to gain volunteers for the world.
