Bike4Peace is a cross-country bicycle ride started in 2005 by Ron Toppi. It is a sub-action of Everett Peace Action in Everett, Washington.
In 2005, 3 riders, Ron Toppi, Jeff Stepper, and Jesse Card rode across the country from Everett, Washington to Washington, DC connecting peace groups and activists across the country.
Hosted almost every night by local peaceniks, peace groups and churches, Bike4peace rode with minimal money and support.
This year Bike4Peace plans on being bigger. With 5 riders so far doing the entire trip, a support vehicle, benefit concerts, and a possible documentary, this trip is already shaping up to be far better than before!
