Argonne is a MUD, or multi-user dungeon; we're ROM 2.4b heavily modified -- lots of original skills, spells, areas, and quest-related stuffs! Argonne's players gather together on various telnet-based programs and socialize, hang out, and demonstrate their skills with weapons by fighting creatures throughout the mud. Our hometown, Solace, is far from the usual sort most players log into -- it's got a ground level as well as some nice spots in the trees! We pride ourselves on being very newbie-friendly, listening to the ideas of our players, and making whatever changes fit the theme of the MUD!
