From renodivorceonline.com

Reno Divorce are a punk rock n' roll band with gritty riffs, bittersweet melodies, pounding drums, chugging and melodic bass, and a reckless swagger that harkens back to when rock n' roll was dangerous. A high-energy live band to the core, Reno Divorce truly have to be experienced in person (preferably in a small, packed, sweaty club) to be appreciated properly.

Originally formed in Florida in 1996, the band recorded an EP and a 7 single before going their separate ways. In the Fall of 2000, songwriter Brent Loveday (Vocals/Lead Guitar) headed West to seek out a new life in Denver, Colorado, joining forces with hard-hitting Seattle veteran Andrew Erich (Drums) to form a new Reno Divorce. The band soon made an impression on the Denver scene, racking up scores of live performances and recording their debut album, Naysayers And Yesmen. Undaunted by the lack of label interest, the band hit the road with Boss Tuneage recording artists The Pavers (featuring ex-ALL singer Scott Reynolds). This ultimately lead to Reno Divorce signing with Boss Tuneage Records, a small but prolific UK label, for the official release of Naysayers And Yesmen in June 2002.

The album received rave reviews throughout Europe, prompting the band to embark on a European tour in the Fall of 2002. Following the tour, the rigors of the road lead to a period of line-up changes within the band. Once solidified, they recorded the follow-up to Naysayers, 2003s Youre Only Making It Worse. This was followed by a US tour in the Summer of that year, with European press once again generating a buzz for the band in late 2003/early 2004.

2004 saw the band joined by Tim Jadowski (Bass/Backing Vocals), a Manitowoc, Wisconsin native formerly of such bands as St. James Gate and Wisconsintration Camp. They quickly hit the studio to record the 6 song EP Laugh Now Cry Later, which came out in June of 2004 and was followed by tours of the West Coast and Europe. 2005 saw the band moving on from Boss Tuneage to sign with U.S. label Street Anthem Records. More touring of the US and Europe are on the books for 2005, along with two new releases on Street Anthem including a deluxe, remastered re-release of Naysayers And Yesmen/Laugh Now Cry Later on one CD (Summer 2005) and the Reno Divorce Vs. Sweet Poison split CD (Christmas 2005).
