shyne (jamal barrow recently changed his name to "Moses Michael Levy") was born in Belize, but grew up in Brooklyn, is now serving 10 years after being convicted for a 1999 shootout in Manhattan's Club New York. the case that everyone associate with p. diddy. On 2004 Shyne was signed to Def Jam.
in 2005 he wanted to be taken off of the label due to the lack of marketing and promotion. Shyne is expected to be released no later then 2009. He has been up for parole a few times but has been denied.
The news recently has been that shyne has made some sort of deal with The Black Wall Street. The CEO of black wall street, the game has stated in numerous songs and on his dvd "stop snitching stop lyin"

The game is tryn to basically get a free shyne campaign going to hopefully get the incarcerated rapper released early.
I believe that we should all do what we can to support shyne.
the son of sam clause has been lifted from him, which haulted his financial assets, but that doesn't seem like it's enough not even close.
