Welcome to Creative Michigan. This is a group obviously based out of Michigan dedicated to the exchange of creative ideas and interests. I would hope this could also serve as a tool to help network those in the creative field with other likeminded individuals. There will soon be a website to compliment this group at creativemichigan.com where I will be creating galleries for the artists who participate in this community. I will also eventually be giving out @creativemichigan.com email addresses for those who are interested.


Why is this group private?

Because I'd really rather not deal with weeding out the bots or people interested only in plugging their own endevors without any regard or interest in others.


Is it ok for me to promote my events and the like here?


Of course! Just don't abuse it. Also, make sure you pay heed to what others are doing, since that is what this is supposed to be about anyway. Nobody likes a shameless self promoter with no respect.
