Due to the lack of torrent groups on MySpace, I figured I'd start a fresh one for everyone to come and chat. Share your mp3, flac, shn, jamband, hippie, hip-hop, rap, metal, heavy metal, death metal, thrash metal, hardcore, straightedge, pr0n, etc. torrent sites HERE! Discuss good sites, bad ones and so on and so forth.

There is a simple rule here. Respect. That's about all, for now!

For your first step, you'll want a BitTorrent client. This client handles the files and downloads "chunks" of data from several peers connected to the torrent. It's pretty simple, but sounds complicated (which it is FAR from). I recommend the following (and are my favorites, in order) for use of downloading torrents:

uTorrent - This program handles multiple torrents within the same program...I, myself, love it and don't use anything else. Supports DHT (faster downloading that some sites use). This is a Windows XP compatible client.

BitTorrent - This client handles one .torrent file at a time. You can download multiple clients, but will have multiple windows open (unlike uTorrent which handles all files within a single application). Compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

BitComet - Another multiple file handler. Supports DHT. Compatible with Windows.
