Hello All,

I thought it was time I started a group for the thing I loved most: writing.

You can post works if you want: to get opinion and help editing and everything.

You can discuss your favorate writers and their works. Books tours. Publishers. Ect. Ect. I want this to be a pretty open thing.

This is my long overdue homage to those that have inspired me most:

Chuck Palahniuk, who has written my two most favorate works: Fight Club and Choke. He has reached a renoun I hope to gain. The dark comedic satire is just too much for me. An amazing writer, especially when all of his works come from a very basic premise that turns a "normal" person into a horrific savior, that wants nothing more than to be with other people like themselves.

Augusten Burroughs, who was the first author I read that was something other than the accepted normal reading. One of the only nonfiction authors that has been able to keep my attention- but wait!- he not only kept me trapped in his works, but absorbed me. If I hadn't read Augusten, I wouldn't have read any of these other authors.

Bret Easton Ellis. I have only been able to read half of his works thus far. But his views as to how to only work on a novel when if completely consumes you has kept him on the top for one who has written so little in his career. American Psycho was easily one of the most horrific books I have read, yet it captured me, it was just one of those books that must be read.

I'll continue this later...
