This group has been established to EXCULSIVELY discuss any media, news or episodes associated with the Doctor Who spin-off "Torchwood" starring John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness, Eve Myles as Gwen Cooper, Naoko Mori as Doctor Toshiko Sato, Burn Gorman as Owen Harper and Gareth David-Lloyd as Ianto.



Torchwood has been described as a sexy, paranoid thriller and a cross-pollination of "The X-Files" and "CSI". It deals with a "Top Secret" British Intelligence Agency (Commissioned by Queen Victoria after her encounter with the 10th incarnation of the mysterious Space-Time Traveller called "The Doctor") designated to investigate supernatural and alien activity on modern-day Earth. This organization is lead by Captain Jack Harkness, a 51st century ex-Time Agent who once travelled with "The Doctor".

"Doctor Who" is intended for all ages, "Torchwood" is intended strictly for an adult audience.
