To create a viable liberal third party outside of the Democratic Party. The purpose is to discuss on issues of importance to members of the group and to create a party platform, name, constitution, ect. through collaborative efforts. This is a work in progress and all individuals that wish to get involved are encouraged to do so.

We are aware that there are more than just two parties, however those parties are primarily based on a single ideological thought process or around a single issue. Such organization of a party is ineffective at appealing to people that have varying views and ideological backgrounds because the parties were organized by individuals they shared similar views that were in complete harmony with eachother. It is necessary to build a party of a particular persuasion such as progressive or conservative without relying strongly on any one progressive or conservative ideology. This can be seen as an attempt to unify progressives of all ideological backgrounds rather than a single background. We believe this is necessary if progressives in this country are to ever have a voice loud enough to make a difference.
