From the ethical systems of Kant to Singer, our goal is the analysis of government, human relations, socioeconomic institutional structures, and the moral doctrines espoused therein. This forum was created as a means for full, free debate where people may come to express themselves passionately about what they think is morally correct.

Popular prompts include:

What is freedom? Is it worth having at the expense of human life?

What is safety, and is it worth having at the expense of freedom?

Is capitalism a morally correct institution? Why or why not? Would anarcho-capitalism or Keynesian mixed economy be a better alternative? Or should capitalism be abolished altogether and supplanted with a system that is morally superior (assuming such a system exists)?

Is the dominance of the corporate institution legitimate? Why or why not?

What is the nature of "power", and how much of it should a government be allowed to exercise?

Is there such thing as a distinct American culture? If so, define its characteristics.

Can pre-emptive military action ever be justified? Why or why not? Are preventative measures warranted when done in the best interests of a people's safety?

Is it better to die for a cause or to live up to one? In terms of courage evaluation, which is "morally courageous" and which is "morally craven"?
