Michael Usiak co-founded LKProductions, LLC with screenplay writer / filmmaker Jonathan Bauer and has served as a managing partner since its inception in June of 2006. Ever since playing the lead role of Maxwell Smart in "Get Smart" - a 4th grade play that drew rave reviews - Mr. Usiak knew that acting was his light at the end of the tunnel. While maintaining a strong focus on his business studies at Boston University, Michael portrayed several supporting roles in student short films in the Boston area. Concurrent with the establishment of LKProductions LLC, Mr. Usiak demonstrates his entrepreneurial skills as a financial advisor for Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in New York City, where he specializes in raising equity from both individual and institutional investors. Mr. Usiak graduated with a B.S. from Boston University's School of Management in May of 2005.

Jonathan Bauer (Director/Writer/Producer)

It only took one viewing of "On the Waterfront," at the age of eleven, for Jonathan Bauer to appreciate and embrace the art of filmmaking. Elia Kazan's classic film set a precedent for Mr. Bauer as he journeyed into a world beyond the silver screen. In 2002, Mr. Bauer attended The New York Film Academy, where he wrote, directed, and edited two short films titled, "Remember Me This Way" and "The Teddy Bear Did It." The following year, he served as an assistant director for Rob Faraldi's short film, "Retaw." In June of 2006, Jonathan Bauer teamed up with actor/producer Michael Usiak and formed independent feature film production company, LKProductions LLC.
