Not to many people know about the great Ocean Liners from the past...these huge Grand Ladies Of The Sea that would cross the Atlantic carrying thousands of people to the new world for a better life. These ships were known to be floating places out on the high seas. Care and hard work were put into these ships so they were the grandest most beautiful ships in the world. Some of these ships even proved to be very helpful during WW1 and WW2 has hospital ships or troop carriers Some of these ships had long happy lifes in the survice of there companys....and others had tragic ends. Two of the Great Passenger lines of the time would have to be the White Star Line and the Cunard Line. White Star is known for the Titanic mostly and her sister ships and Cunard is famous for the liners Mauretania and Lusitania and later the Queen Mary.
