A passion for writing started early for Sara. Throughout elementary school, Sara wrote short stories for the school's book award program, and placed every year she entered, winning school and district in fifth grade with the book "The Mystery of Mary Beth." Starting at the ripe age of 15, Sara started writing for income for online websites such as Bolt, Eye on the Web, Teenwire (Planned Parenthood) and other various companies. Her hunger grew for the written word as she took on the responsibility of writing monthly articles for Suite 101's Teen subject. During her high school years, she interned at the local newspaper, but had to quit due to conflicting work schedules and the need to pay the bills. Now, at age 23, Sara now owns her own business, and is starting to find the time for her first love, writing. Many popular writing sites that she perused years before are no longer available, and she'd love to use the power of MySpace members to bring that writing spark alive for her and many others.
